LAHS Graduating Senior Tomas Nicolas Martinez Enlists In U.S. Army, Following Family Legacy

Tomas was very active in sports since the age of 4. Baseball was his #1 but football was quick to follow. He then took an interest in wrestling during high school. However, he never joined high school sports because his heart was always wanting to be outdoors, fishing, camping, driving through the mountains, and working on the truck that he inherited from his Grandpa after he passed away. Being raised in the small town of El Rito where his mother Martina was also raised, outdoors is always where they spent their time. His Grandpa and Nino always had him exploring the mountains or working outdoors at a very young age. Tomas has enlisted with the United States Army 91 Bravo. He is carrying a family legacy by enlisting with the U.S. Army dating back to his Great Great Grandpa. Courtesy photo
