Alexander ‘Boom’ Pasulka is graduating from Los Alamos High School on May 25, 2024. He has received an appointment to the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. Boom has committed to run Division I track and field for West Point. He intends to major in Engineering Management He will report on July 1.

Boom was on the LAHS Varsity track team for 4 years where he ran the 400m, 4x 100, 4 x 200, 4 x 400 as well as the 1600 m relay. In May Boom broke the 37 year old LAHS 400 m record at 48.61 sec . He was part of the relay teams that broke the LAHS records in the 4 x 200, 4  x 400 and the 1600 m relay.

Boom was also on the LAHS Varsity football team for 4 years where he played safety and corner back. And during his sophomore year he made the Varsity wrestling team.

During COVID Boom volunteered at the Los Alamos Animal Shelter and volunteered at the Espanola Pathways Homeless Shelter.

Boom is the son of Matthew and Aleksandra Pasulka, younger brother to Max (LAHS 2021), Kasia (LAHS 2022) and older brother to Nic (LAHS 2027). He is the grandson of Jozef and Barbara Kuzminski of White Rock.
