Since our last Central Committee meeting on March 16, we had a successful legislative update fundraiser, Ward meetings, and a LAFRW tea event!

On this Mother’s Day, I would like to wish a special blessing to all the moms in our lives: mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, stepmothers, mothers-in-law and foster mothers. Whether it’s a phone call or a meal together, I hope you have an opportunity to celebrate our mothers today.

Being a mom myself, protecting our most cherished and precious ones from harm is of utmost importance to me. Parents have the final say when it comes to our children, and indeed, parents have a “constitutional right to direct the upbringing and education of their children.”  

Please mark your calendars for our next Central Committee meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at Open Door Bible Church (2101 Trinity Dr., Ste A-2). All registered Republicans are invited to attend. Please note the location change.  

If you are interested in running for office or supporting candidates, please join us for candurcidate training by former Congressman Bill Redmond, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at Open Door Bible Church. Breakfast and lunch will be served.  

RPLA will have a table at the Los Alamos Summer Concerts, as well as the July 4th celebration at Overlook Park.
