At an event Thursday afternoon in honor of outgoing Los Alamos County Manager Harry Burgess at the Pajarito Mountain Ski Lodge , County Council Chair Randy Ryti thanked him on behalf of ‘the current council, the previous eight councils, and six previous chairs’, for his service to the community. Ryti noted that in total Harry has had 24 different councilors as his supervisors but County staff have had a single leader for the past 10 years which stands in stark contrast to the six administrators over the previous period of time. Pictured with Burgess are, from left, former Councilor Geoff Rodgers, Councilor Sara Scott, Councilor Denise Derkacs, Councilor David Izraelevitz, Ryti, Councilor Sean Williams, Burgess, former Councilor Mike Wheeler, former Councilor Kristin Henderson, former Councilor Rick Reiss, former Councilor Sharon Stover and Councilor David Reagor.
