Albuquerque Man Dies In Sept. 4 Motorcycle Crash North Of Espanola

On September 4, 2020 at about 11:36 p.m., New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal motorcycle crash on NM Highway 68, near mile post 19, north of Espanola, NM. 

The initial investigation shows a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Macario Vigil, 28, of Albuquerque, was traveling north on NM Highway 68.  For reasons unknown the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Vigil was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries.  He was pronounced deceased on scene by the Office of Medical Investigator.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.  No additional information is available.
