There is a power outage affecting the Pajarito Ski Hill while a Department of Public Utilities replaces a dangerous broken pole discovered during pole inspections. DPU’s contractor performing pole inspections identified a dangerous broken pole.

Due to the very unsafe conditions, potential for a fire hazard and increasingly high winds at the ski hill, it was determined that the pole needed to be replaced immediately. It is anticipated that power will be restored at approximately 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
