The Los Alamos DWI Planning Council and Champions of Youth Ambitions, have
partnered with the local Smith’s Food and Drug Stores to participate in Sticker Shock. A Sticker Shock campaign is a project where the community, youth and alcohol retailers all work together to combat minors getting access to alcohol. The messaging is geared towards adults to stop them from purchasing alcohol for minors. As Prom Weekend is at hand the stores are allowing volunteers to place stickers on alcohol to remind adults not to provide alcohol to minors. The White Rock Smith’s event took place Thursday and the Los Alamos store happens Friday. Courtesy Image
