RPLA Announces October 2026 Events

BY LISA SHIN
Chair
Republican Party of Los Alamos

Dear Friends:
Early voting starts on Tuesday, October 6, 2026!

Did you know that our County is shelling out $11.4 million (MRA/LEDA) to select, private, profit driven entities in the name of “economic development”? Should free market principles or the local government pick who wins and who loses? Are you worried about favoritism, nepotism, cronyism, and corruption? Please vote for Eric Stromberg and Jason Chappel to restore fiscal responsibility and sanity to our County Council!

Without a Republican candidate for County Assessor, please vote for Libertarian James Wernicke over Democrat Jeff Casalina. I am confident that James will bring transparency, accountability, competency, and integrity to this important public office.

Vote NO to all 3 County questions, and vote AGAINST all 4 Constitutional
Amendments.

RPLA will have a table at Trick or Treat on Mainstreet on Friday, October
30th, 4-6pm. Please mark your calendars for our bimonthly Central
Committee meeting on October 15th, 6pm at Open Door Bible Church.

The Faith and Community movie series will feature “The Story of Everything” on Saturday October 10th, 2026, 4:00 PM at SALA Event Center. This cinematic journey through the cosmos explores the mysteries and patterns woven throughout the universe. From the precise laws governing the stars to the intricate structures of living cells, the film examines the idea of intentional design in nature.
