Valles Caldera National Preserve staff and volunteers gather together after Valles Caldera’s Excellence in Volunteer Service award ceremony on Saturday, September 26, 2026 during the Park’s Fall Fiesta. Staff noted that their volunteers folks make such a difference in Valles Caldera’s efforts in resource stewardship, visitor services, education, and trail maintenance; and that appreciation for them knows no bounds.
