Los Alamos County’s Non-Emergency Phone Line Is Down, Alternative Numbers Available

COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

The non-emergency dispatch phone line is currently down, and two temporary numbers have been stood up. Please call 505-672-6382 or 505-672-6337 for any non-emergency assistance. Please try both numbers, as a dispatcher may be busy on the line you try first.

The emergency line, 911, remains fully functional and should continue to be used for any emergency.

The non-emergency number, detention center number, and all Police Department numbers are down due to an electrical issue at the Los Alamos Justice Center. The current estimated time to resolve the issue is 24 to 48 hours.
