LACC NEWS RELEASE

Join us for a fun day of seasonal pottery making on Monday, Oct. 12! Turn clay into a masterpiece using hand-building clay techniques. Students will learn techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab construction to create fall-themed pieces such as pumpkins and cats. After lunch, pieces will be painted with glazes. There is NO wheel work in these classes. Pieces will be ready for pick-up about a week after class.

Students should wear clothes they are comfortable getting dirty (can wear an apron!) and closed-toe shoes. Hair should be pulled back and students may find it easier to work with trimmed nails. Students should bring a water bottle, snacks, and lunch.

There will be a sign in/out sheet and ID’s will be checked for authorized adults at pick-up.

Fees are nonrefundable unless an alternate student can be found. Camp minimum is 4 students and the class is limited to 8 students.
