The Los Alamos Reporter visited Cundijo, Cordova, Truchas and Santa Cruz Lake Saturday afternoon. Santa Cruz Lake, a water source for the Frijoles Fire, has sacrificed a lot of its water for the Fire. Area residents predict that the heavy rainstorms over the Frijoles Fire burn scar could a lot more sediment and debris into the lake. Meanwhile, while the lake has changed greatly in its appearance, but has a new beauty. Photo by Maire O’Neill/losalamosreporter.com
