LAPD NEWS RELEASE

Los Alamos Police Department and the local FBI office will host a community presentation on common fraud and scams, with a special focus on elder fraud.

The presentation will be held Tuesday, August 18, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos.

The event will be held in a town hall format, giving community members an opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns about fraud and scams. A PowerPoint presentation will be used to help guide the discussion.

While elder fraud will be a primary focus, everyone is welcome to attend. Community members are encouraged to bring questions about fraud, scams, and ways to protect themselves and their families
