Discover Los Alamos and the Ambassador Program are offering two free Ambassador trainings this week.

Today Monday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the White Rock Visitor Center (115 N.M. 4) and Wednesday July 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Century Bank Conference Center (751 Trinity Drive). Both trainings are free.

The Los Alamos Ambassador Program was designed to help create a community of helpers. It is a FREE program that includes an approximately 1.5-hour in-person class where participants will learn some techniques to become a more effective ambassador.

While there are personal and economic benefits, the real reward is creating a community that is welcoming to all people.

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate and Community Cash eGift Card to use at local businesses.
