Sundance Consultants, LLC has invited the community to a public meeting July 14 in Santa Fe about the 2016 Compliance Order on Consent for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

The Consent Order is an agreement between the New Mexico Environment Department and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) that guides certain environmental cleanup work at LANL. Sundance has been selected to conduct a third-party review of how the agreement is working and whether DOE and NMED are meeting their responsibilities.

The purpose of this meeting is to hear from the public about topics, questions, or concerns that should be considered during the review. Comments received during the meeting will help Sundance develop the audit lines of inquiry.

The meeting will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Drury Plaza Hotel,
828 Paseo de Peralta in Santa Fe.
