LAPS NEWS RELEASE

Sixty Los Alamos High School seniors were presented with local awards and scholarships during the Senior Scholarship Ceremony held during senior week at the high school. Through the generosity and support of numerous community groups and organizations, 136 scholarships were presented, totaling over $200,000. This year, there were seven new scholarships.

In addition, Rotary president Greg Viola presented the Paul Harris Fellow Award of $1,000 from Rotary International to Lance Metcalf for “his many years of service to the Los Alamos Rotary Club since a young age that continues to this day.”
