Los Alamos High School 2026 Graduating Senior Laila Muller To Pursue Degree In Kinesiology At New Mexico State University 

Los Alamos High School graduating senior Laila Muller will attend New Mexico State University this fall to pursue a degree in Kinesiology.  

During all four years of her high school career, Laila has enjoyed working year round with a youth program caring for and teaching local youth ages kindergarten through sixth grade. After college, she plans on continuing her passion of working with children as she pursues a career a pediatric occupational therapist. 

Graduating with honors, she is also a recipient of a local Knights Of Columbus Scholarship, the local Aspen Elementary PTO Scholarship and the New Mexico State University Hadley Honors Scholarship. Throughout her time at LAPS, beginning in elementary school, she was active in various service clubs such as Kiwanis Key Club and Rotary Interact. Some of her favorite memories were hosting lemonade stands to raise funds for The African LIbrary Project and book packing parties to help send books overseas to build libraries in Africa. She also enjoyed her time in 4H where she developed her skills in raising livestock and also shooting sports.
