LAHS 2026 Graduating Senior Alessandra Valencia Heads To Texas Tech University To Major In Mechanical Engineering, Minor In Robotics, AI, And Mathematics

Congratulations to Alessandra Valencia, a 2026 graduate of Los Alamos High School! Alessandra was a varsity cheerleader throughout high school and was selected as team captain senior year. Her elite skills earned her All-American cheerleader from the UCA for three consecutive years, leading to unforgettable performances at the Spirit Spectacular Parade in Orlando and twice in the Pearl Harbor Parade in Hawaii.

Beyond the sidelines, Alessandra excelled in mastering robotics at LAHS and earning a certificate in three areas of FANUC industrial robotics through UNM-LA. This fall, she takes her talents to Texas Tech University to major in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Robotics, AI, and Mathematics. We are extremely proud of our girl and her remarkable achievements and cannot wait to watch her thrive in this next chapter!

Alessandra is the daughter of Matthew and Yvonne Valencia.
