Magic Paintbrush Exhibit At Step Up Gallery Closing Soon

There are only a few days left to see “Magic Paintbrush: Painting Peace and Healing “ in Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library. The last day to see this work is Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Artist Feather Redfox has created more than 60 large, colorful acrylic paintings for this exhibit. The paintings are heartfelt and thought-provoking. With each painting she explores a topic, a question or a phrase that intrigues her. As she paints, she looks for direction from her spirit guides. She gave a gallery talk at the opening reception about her process, which can be found on the Step Up Gallery You Tube channel:

The next exhibit coming to Step Up Gallery is the All Schools Student Art Show, which opens Feb. 26 with an opening reception 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs rotunda of Mesa Public Library.

Step Up Gallery (https://stepupgallery.org) is on the top level of Mesa Public Library in Los Alamos, at 2400 Central Ave. The gallery is open the same hours as the library: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
Saturday and 1-5 p.m., Sun.
