About the Presenter
The evening will be led by Elizabeth Watts, PEEC’s Planetarium Manager. Her passion for informal science education began as a teenager volunteering at a hands‐on science museum and continued through college and graduate school. Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Physics from Birmingham‐Southern College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin. She moved to Los Alamos in 1999 and loves that a trail is always just minutes away. After years of bringing her own children to PEEC programs, Elizabeth joined the staff in 2018. She is delighted to share her love of astronomy and the natural world with the community.
