Join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) for a spooktacular evening of family fun at PEEC-a-BOO at the Nature Center on Friday, October 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.! This free, sensory-friendly event invites trick-or-treaters of all ages to stop by the Los Alamos Nature Center as part of the Trick-or-Treat on MainStreet festivities.
For one night only, Los Alamos Nature Center will be open for extended hours and transformed into a playful Halloween haven. Guests can look forward to:
● Spooky Creature Encounters at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. with live animals that call the nature center home
● Campfire Storytime and cozy, festive vibes around the fire
● Planetarium Halloween Cartoons showing family-friendly spooky shorts
● Crafts and Hands-on Activities inside and outside the Nature Center
● And of course… plenty of candy!
Whether you’re in costume or just looking for a fun way to spend the evening, this event
is perfect for families with children of all ages. All activities are designed to be sensory-friendly, offering a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy the magic of Halloween.
PEEC-a-BOO takes place at Los Alamos Nature Center, 2600 Canyon Rd., Los
Alamos. Admission is free and no registration is required.
● After PEEC-A-BOO, stick around for Aliens! in the planetarium at 7 p.m. Admission: $8/adult; $6/child; $20/family.
