I wanted to lend my voice to those endorsing both Andrew Wright and David Hampton. This is not a position of the Chamber of Commerce, but rather, my own opinion and endorsement, as a resident of White Rock, NM, and as someone who has had many interactions with both of these fine gentlemen.

David Hampton knows how important UNM-LA is to our community. He is active and engaged in our community, and I have found him to be honest and direct, qualities I greatly value.

Andrew has served the community through his work at the Los Alamos Arts Council. If you have attended any LAAC events or classes, you know it takes a great team to pull those off. Andrew is part of that great team. I have known him as one of our volunteer film judges for the Los Alamos Film & Culture Festival. It is not easy judging films, especially when you know there is a prize involved that can really help a filmmaker. I have seen him be fair, honest, and steadfast. 

Our community needs strong leaders on the UNM-LA Advisory Board.

I believe both David and Andrew will be great additions to the Advisory Board! I hope as you learn more about them, you will want to vote for them, too.
