DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE NEWS RELEASE
The New Mexico Department of Justice (NMDOJ) has launched a new webpage to help New Mexicans report and track federal disruptions impacting their communities.
The page houses a form that allows users to submit information about disruptions related to Social Security, federal funding freezes, mass layoffs, and other critical programs. As information is collected, the webpage will grow to also house real-time tracking information including issues from across the state and any other necessary updates on the issue as they arise.
This resource is intended to ensure New Mexicans can quickly report issues and access available support.
“New Mexicans deserve to know when disruptions in Washington D.C. might affect their wallets, their jobs, or their benefits,” said Attorney General Raúl Torrez. “We created this page to make sure people have timely, reliable information and know where to turn for help when they need it most.”
New Mexicans can find and complete the form at https://nmdoj.gov/get-help/federal-disruptions/.
