Conner Tharp Appointed To UNM-LA Advisory Board

The UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) Advisory Board selected Conner Tharp to fill its vacant board seat during the Feb. 24 special board meeting.

“I am honored to join the UNM-Los Alamos Advisory Board and look forward to advocating for accessible, high-quality education. My goal is to help strengthen community partnerships and support initiatives that expand opportunities for all students, regardless of their background or circumstances,” Tharp said.

Tharp is serving the remainder of a seat that became vacant in January and runs through 2026. She has lived in Los Alamos County for eight years and works for the public affairs office at Los Alamos National Laboratory. She has a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management with a minor in business administration and a master’s degree in public health with an emphasis in healthcare management, administration and policy.
