Ryn Herrmann brings much-needed expertise in supporting business to the Council. You may
have noticed that the public discourse about economic development in Los Alamos focuses on
the perceived failures of the Council to bring new businesses to the County. The fact is, and
always has been, that these problems in Los Alamos are almost entirely out of the power of the
Council to solve. The Council can provide a welcoming environment, and it has done that with
its support of the Chamber and the LACDC, but the factors hindering development are national
or situational.

Ryn’s career gave her outstanding insight into these issues and will help the Council to navigate
these tricky waters as the national and state economies evolve. Please vote for Ryn Herrmann!
