New Mexico Fight for Life is hosting a gala on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m. at Cities of Gold Hotel Ballroom in Pojoaque. New Mexico Fight for Life is a non-profit started by Ashley Denzel-Roessler, whose mission is to prevent suicide, elevate mental health awareness, and provide support to survivors of suicide. They firmly believe that by focusing on education, support, and raising awareness, individuals, organizations, and communities can be empowered to eradicate mental health stigmas.
New Mexico Fight for Life’s aim is to initiate vital conversations and transform everyone into dedicated suicide prevention advocates and warriors. Together, we can make a difference. The gala will raise funds for their programs, which include support groups, outreach programs, and financial services for suicide survivors.
New Mexico ranks fourth in the nation for suicide deaths. September is National Suicide Prevention month. Tickets for the gala are on sale now until Aug. 23 at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2nd-annual-gala-ball-fundraiser-for-new-mexico-fight-for-life-tickets-926144893307
