Los Alamos Chamber Of Commerce Names Megan Bucklin As New Member Services Manager

Megan Bucklin has joined the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce team as Member Services Manager and will serve as the liaison to Chamber members, as well as providing support and information to prospective members.

As a native of Los Alamos, Bucklin brings her experience working with various businesses throughout the community, as well as her knowledge of inter-business coordination to Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce.

She has experience with member management and coordination from her time working
with United Way of Northern New Mexico and adventure companies in Colorado. Currently, she is also serving as the Executive Director for the Los Alamos Film and Culture Festival. This Festival brings international films and filmmakers to Los Alamos, in an effort to connect the community to these filmmakers from around the world, as well as sharing their different cultural perspectives. The Festival began April 28 and will run through May 5, 2024.

Bucklin holds a B.A. in Anthropology and International Studies from the University of Wyoming, as well as a Master’s in Film from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. After obtaining her degrees, Bucklin has returned to Los Alamos to live closer to her family, who also live in Los Alamos. She spends most of her time outside exploring the Jemez and nearby National Parks or reading.
