DALA NEWS RELEASE
Dance Arts Los Alamos celebrated their 9 graduating senior dancers on March 2 with a showcase featuring solos, duets, and a group piece from the Los Alamos High School Class of 2024 dancers. Some of the dancers created and choreographed their own capstone pieces while DALA Faculty Jonathan Guise, Karina Wilder, Rachel Zervakos, and Luke Reid-Grassia choreographed pieces for others. The performance was well attended by family and friends and was followed by a reception celebration in the lobby of the Duane Smith Auditorium hosted by the DALA Board of Directors.
DALA is looking forward to their spring performance season including the full length ballet “The Tales of Don Quixote”, the Young Children’s Wizard of Oz Showcase, and the Intermediate and Advanced Dancers Mixed Repertoire Showcase. DALA is excited to announce their second annual Spring Gala Soiree at Fuller Lodge on May 3, which will include pre-show drinks, tapas, and presentations about the spring season.
