The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) has released its annual report for fiscal year 2023 as required by the Los Alamos County Charter.

The report examines performance and financials for all utilities under the DPU, which cover the areas of electric distribution and production, natural gas distribution, water distribution and production, and wastewater collection and treatment. Also featured are strategic focus areas and goals, rate details and accomplishments.

The county’s fiscal year runs from July through June. The charter states that DPU’s annual report must be published within 45 days of the acceptance of county-wide audited financials by the Los Alamos County Council.
