Small But Determined Group Gathers For MANNM’s Diabetes Awareness Timed Or Casual 5K Or 1-Mile Walk/Run

A small but determined group gathered Saturday morning for a diabetes walk/run organized by Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico (MANNM) to bring awareness to diabetes. There were options to walk or run a 5K or 1 mile route from Rover Park in White Rock. Participants made donations to the American Diabetes Association’s Camp 180 for New Mexico children. Los Alamos Fire Department provided blood pressure and blood sugar checks and the Los Alamos Auxiliary Fire Brigade followed along the route.
