The Los Alamos Reporter just celebrated its five-year anniversary. The time has flown by and I never dreamed that in 2022 I would have almost 2.5 million views with numbers heading in the same direction this year.
After researching what people read most on my page, I have come to realize that my readership looks most at what I write myself, so there will be more of that this coming year.
My page is totally independent and I am beholden to nobody and I have a good sense of what people want to read about. Many times the topics I cover are not being covered anywhere else. Life in Los Alamos County is complicated and people need to know what’s happening out there, whether they like reading about it or not.
In the coming year, I will spend less time in front of my laptop and more time fishing. I will put my health and my family first. I will continue to enjoy the amazing people I have met or become closer to since I started this venture. I will continue to provide unbiased writing for my readership.
Thank you to all my readers, especially my trusty group of advisors who keep me on the straight and narrow. And of course, thanks to my loving and patient husband, Mike!
