After some unexpected project delays in the development of a housing project on the former Black Hole site, Doug Turner, one of the partners in Rutherford Homes told the Los Alamos Reporter homes are going up at Arkansas Place and are for sale.

“Thankfully, there have been no additional delays and the first home should be completed this month,” Turner said.

The entire project consists of 44 homes at the 4 1/2 acre site, which is located off Diamond Drive and Arkansas. It will have a private park for residents and because of the heights of the structures will undoubtfully have breathtaking views of Los Alamos.

“These are high-end homes – 2,600 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, and a two-car garage. Each home features a top floor deck or enclosed office The homes are now available in the $800s depending on custom finishes and features,” Turner said. “Sales are now open.”
