Obituary: Marsha Crook March 3, 1952 – August 17, 2023

Marsha Helen Harris Crook passed away August 17, 2023. She was born to Margaret and Stanley Harris of Clovis, NM, where she grew up and graduated from Clovis High School. During her youth, Marsha was active in choir all through school, where she sang in the Women’s Barbershop Quartet and was a dedicated member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was a Past Worthy Advisor of Clovis Rainbow Assembly #8.

Marsha fell in love with, and married her DeMolay Beau, Rex Crook on August 10, 1971, and they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last week. Marsha was always active in her roles as daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and with all those fortunate enough to call her friend, she loved you all!

She served as Mother Advisor to Farmington Rainbow Assembly #35 and was a member of Electa Chapter #13, Order of the Eastern Star. After raising her family, Marsha went back to college, earning her RN-BSN. Marsha enjoyed a 20+ year nursing career at Los Alamos Medical Center and the offices of Dr. Richard Honsinger and associates.

Marsha and Rex drove countless hours in recent years RVing, attending Trap Shoots (she was a great cheerleader) and visiting family and friends far and wide.

Marsha is survived by her beloved husband and soul-mate Rex Crook, daughter Amy Justice, daughter Kay Chinn & husband John; grandchildren Ashlee Justice, Jamie & Tristan Hill, Jessica Justice and Sean Chinn and her great granddaughters Raelyn and Annalea Hill.

Marsha is preceded in death by her sister Pamela Reid, brother Dave Harris and great granddaughter AnnaKay Justice.

Marsha’s family would like to invite you to join in a celebration of her blessed life on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Sagebrush Church, 1501 Sunrise Parkway, Farmington, NM 87401at a time to be determined. time to be determined.
