In continued celebration of ScienceFest 2023, join LANL scientist, Irina Sagert, for an engaging talk about Neutron Stars on Tuesday, July 18 at 7 p.m. During ‘Neutron Stars – Small but Mighty’, Sagert will give an introduction to neutron stars and the history of their discovery and study, including the famous Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff equation, which is used to understand the masses and sizes of these compact objects. Admission for the program is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Events in the planetarium are not recommended for children under age 4.
