We realize it’s summer time, and play time, but any of you who feel called to help out please enjoy shopping for a kid who has been uprooted and torn from a previous life and who wants to start school looking like the rest of the students.

Here’s the information for the school supplies drive for Refugees this July. 

1. 75  new backpacks are requested, 25 each in elementary, middle and high school, full of a complete set of supplies for one of the levels (please label whether it is elementary, middle or high school).

2. Locations for drop off are currently: White Rock United Methodist, Bethlehem Lutheran, Unitarian, Trinity on the Hill Episcopal

3. Supply lists are attached.

4. Gift cards are appreciated and those who can’t provide school supplies may wish to get gift cards. Denominations such as $25 and stores like Target or Walmart. Shoes are still indicated as a growing need, and gift cards help toward that.
