Atomic City Transit’s regular scheduled bus service will not operate on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the holiday, however, Atomic City Transit will provide a free shuttle service for the Los Alamos July 4th event at Overlook Park in White Rock. Shuttle service will begin at 3:00 p.m. from Diamond & Canyon in Los Alamos, White Rock Visitor Center, and Piñon Elementary School parking lot in White Rock.
A continuous shuttle service will be provided throughout the event with the last bus leaving Overlook Park at 10:00 p.m. Paratransit services for certified and registered customers will also be provided, please call our administrative offices to schedule your ride.
Bandelier shuttles will run every 20 minutes for the week of July 4 and will return to 30-minute service on Monday, July 10.
Regular fixed-route service will resume Wednesday, July 5.
