The deadline for submitting artwork for the Fractals Fusion and Fission exhibit is Friday, June 16. The exhibit runs June 30-Aug. 1 with the opening reception set for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 8. It includes art by local STEM folks who also make art and showcases the diverse talent of the community, highlighting that even though the Los Alamos National Laboratory’s mission may not always seem to align with an artistic vision, in reality, science and the arts need each other to thrive. Fuller Lodge Art Center want to see the side of people the world may not know, whether or not they work in science. There is no entry fee.
