ARCHDIOCESE NEWS RELEASE
The funeral arrangements for Most Reverend Michael Jarboe Sheehan, Archbishop Emeritus of Santa Fe, have been announced by the Archdiocese. The services are open to the public with very limited seating. The Mass of the Dead will be live-streamed on Immaculate Conception Parish’s YouTube and the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Facebook page. The vigil and Mass for Christian Burial will be live-streamed on the Archdiocese of Santa Fe Facebook page and the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi website. Note the Catholic Center will be closed on Friday, June 9, to allow the staff the opportunity to attend the funeral.
Most Reverend John C. Wester, Archbishop of Santa Fe, said, “Please keep the happy repose of Archbishop Emeritus Sheehan’s soul in your prayers, remembering his family as well as the people of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
