In Jimi & Isaac 2b: Assistance Dog, Jimi learns that being a puppy raiser is almost as complicated as dealing with his friend Isaac. Almost.

The 10th book in the Jimi & Isaac series is another plot-driven, easy-to-read book for kids that aren’t finding books worth reading. The subject takes the lead, and the kid’s curiosity pulls them into building a reading habit. Soccer, baseball, boating and environmentalism, science and inventing, farming, health trauma, and just plain getting along all pull the reluctant reader into the story. Then they’ll follow Jimi & Isaac into new topics and new interests.

Rink’s books are geared towards middle school students, especially boys, and to kids that don’t like to read!

Jimi & Isaac books are available locally at Samizdat Bookstore & Teahouse in Park Square in Los Alamos, or can be ordered from Amazon. They are available in print, ebook, and audio formats.
