Students from the Aspen-Mountain-Piñon Combined Elementary Choir recently surprised diners at the Blue Window Bistro with songs of the Christmas season.  The large group of singers was under the direction of Galina Austin of Mountain Elementary, Nic Montoya-Valdez of Piñon, and Jacob Lucero of Aspen Elementary as they strolled from business to business downtown on Wednesday afternoon, December 7. ‘This is the first time we have caroled since 2019, and the students were excited about the opportunity,’ remarked Lucero.
