Samizdat Bookstore and Teahouse owner Jill Lang is excited about a special event Samizdat is hosting Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Fuller Lodge to celebrate a new book called “Nuclear Nuevo Mexico” by Nuevamexicana Myrriah Gomez who graduated from Pojoaque Valley High school and has gone on to become a professor in the Honors College at the University of New Mexico.

Lang describes Gomez’s book as “academic but accessible’ and said the book is selling quickly at Samizdat. Pre-orders may be placed on the Samizdat website, https://www.samizdatbookstore.com/, and may be picked up either at the store or at the book signing event.
