UWNNM NEWS RELEASE

On Friday, October 28, United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) hosted a thank you Frito pie lunch for their Employee Giving Campaign at Los Alamos County Municipal Building. UWNNM’s goal to raise $500,000 for next year’s nonprofit grantees has been greatly influenced by the generous donations from workers around Los Alamos and has reached over $430,000 total thus far. The Employee Giving Campaign lunch was a way for UWNNM to give back to workers who have donated money through the automatic deduction from their paycheck, and for all the work they do to service the community of Los Alamos.

As UWNNM continues to raise funds in efforts to reach half a million dollars by January 1, 2023, they ask that anyone interested in donating or becoming a nonprofit grantee visit their website for more information.

Grant requests are being accepted until December 1, 2022. Donations are always accepted and appreciated.

To donate to United Way of Northern New Mexico and its future nonprofits, visit UnitedWayNNM.org, or visit UnitedWayNNM.org for more information about how to apply and submit the 2023 Grantee Application Form.
