
COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
Los Alamos County Community Development Department (CDD) and its consultant, Dekker/Perich/Sabatini (DPS) will present the final draft of the Chapter 16 Development Code to the Planning and Zoning Commission and County Council in three joint virtual work sessions October 12, 13, and 14 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Chapter 16 Development Code is the County’s zoning code that defines how a property in specific geographic zones can be used and developed. CDD and DPS have incorporated into the final draft public feedback received during the Module 1, 2 and 3 review periods and input from the Code Update Steering Committee.
The draft Chapter 16 Development Code will be available online at https://losalamosconnect.org/ at least 72 hours before the first meeting. Interested members of the public may join the virtual work sessions using this Zoom link.
In addition, virtual office hours will be available all three days before each meeting from 9 to 11:30 a.m. using this Zoom link. During the virtual office hours, the project team will be available to any interested party to discuss the draft, answer questions, and take additional feedback.
