Will Fisher And Ted Romero Tie For Top Predictor In Final Pace Race Of 48th Season For Atomic City Road Runners

Will Fisher and Ted Romero had a tie for best predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Canyon Rim Trail at 2 seconds off their predicted time.  Fisher was also the first finisher in the 3 mile distance recording a time of 19:58.  Other accurate predictors were:  Ryan Smeltzer with a 8 second differential; Lynn Bjorklund and Mary Snow with a tie at 9 seconds off and Bjorklund the top female finisher on the 3 mile course at 23:09; Zach Medin with 14 second difference; and Roxana Candia and Catherine Hensley with another tie at 15 seconds off.

On the 1 mile course 11 year old Adrian Medin was the best finisher with a time of 7:09 and the first female finisher was Michaela McKamey at 11:19.

This race concludes the Atomic City Road Runners Club 48th season.  Next season will begin on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Canyon Rim Trailhead on East Road ( NM State Route # 502) across the road from the Co-operative Market.

The Annual CROP/Turkey Trot Run/walk will be held at the Los Alamos Middle School on North Mesa on Sunday, Nov. 20 starting at 2:00 p.m. with sign up beginning at 1:00 p.m.
