LACF NEWS RELEASE

Steve and Kathy Boerigter are riding a tandem bike across the country from the Olympic Peninsula to Key West. Not only are they seeking to inspire the community through their
perseverance and teamwork, but they are also challenging the community to join them in
supporting the Los Alamos Community Foundation and United Way of Northern New
Mexico, two of the Boerigters’ favorite organizations that also work in tandem to support
nonprofits in Los Alamos and across northern New Mexico. Will you join them in the
challenge?
 
Steve and Kathy have pledged $1 per mile of their journey (up to 5,000 miles) to be
shared between Los Alamos Community Foundation and United Way of Northern New
Mexico. They challenge folks to consider a donation as a show of support for both their
ride and their spirit of giving back to the community. The Boerigters invite you to follow
