Los Alamos Police Department is reviewing video of the downtown area of Los Alamos looking for clues as to who is responsible for graffiti that appeared overnight at 1789 Central Avenue, Ashley Pond Park and Ashley Pond Pavilion.

The inscription at 1789 Central Avenue, pictured above, states,” LANL Weapons Employees are Terrorists & Murders (sic.). Wake up”. As of 9 a.m., workers were beginning to paint over the black lettering.

“After we finish reviewing all available video, LAPD will issue a news release and a Crime Stoppers reward,” Cmdr. Daniel Roberts told the Los Alamos Reporter Friday at midday.
