Ryan Smeltzer was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Canada Bonita Trail at 19 seconds off his predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Sanna Sevanto with a 22 second differential as well as the first female finisher in the 3 mile distance at 28:58; Jan Velechovsky at 25 seconds off; 11 year old Levi Gibson with a 27 second differential and the best finisher on the 1 mile course with a time of 7:08; and 10 year old Luke Gibson recording a 36 second difference. Anna Ferenbaugh, 13, was the top female finisher on the 1 mile course at 13:54.
On the 3 mile course Paul Geimer recorded a 20:22 for first finisher.
Next week’s race will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. starting at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds on North Mesa Road. One mile paved and 3 mile hybrid courses will be available.
