Giant Science & Technical Book Sale Saturday During ScienceFest At Mesa Public Library

FLACL NEWS RELEASE

Friends of Los Alamos County Libraries (FLACL) is holding a Science & Technical Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Mesa Public Library in cooperation with Sciencefest. Thousands of books in the fields of popular science, physics, engineering, chemistry, mathematics and so much more will be available for purchase.

The best deals will be outside Mesa Public Library where you can fill up a bag (provided) for just $10 per bag and in the lobby, tables will be set up with $5 books. While you’re there, come into the Friends Bookstore for the latest in fiction, nonfiction, or dozens of genres to choose from.

Every dollar goes to our two local community libraries for special programs, speakers, activities for children and adults and let’s not forget about the impressive collection of media, both physical and electronically, that you can borrow.

The Friends Bookstore is located in the foyer of the library, which is across the street from Ashley Pond and just down from Fuller Lodge, at 2400 Central Avenue.
