Starting today, Tuesday, July 5, Los Alamos National Laboratory employees and visitors are again required to wear face masks indoors regardless of vaccination status. A notice to employees attributes the move to the fact that on Thursday, June 30, the COVID-19 community level in Los Alamos moved to high. The requirement will be in effect until the County returns to a moderate or low status and follows CDC guidelines.

As well as masking while indoors, employees and guests working outdoors within six feet of others or riding in a vehicle with other have to mask up.
