Celebrate Worldwide Knit In Public Day Saturday On Fuller Lodge Lawn With Close-Knit Yarn Cooperative

Celebrate Worldwide Knit in Public Day with Close-Knit Yarn Cooperative from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11 on the Fuller Lodge Lawn. There will be all sorts of fun things to do beginning with a tiny toy scavenger hunt at 10 a.m. where people can find a tiny toy and claim a future Close-Knit discount. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., hourly prizes will be awarded. In between prizes, contribute to the Perpetual Scarf and enjoy fiber arts demonstrations. Bring your knitting and join in for an hour or for the whole day. Learn to Knit kits will be available for purchase and all fiber crafts are welcome. Please bring your own chair. Due to rising COVID numbers, the event will be food-free but bottled water will be available. Pictured is Close-Knit Yarn Cooperative manager Mary Fellman and a friend who’s busy knitting in public.
